Rev. Cathie Smith, Associate Minister of Family Ministries

Cathie has served on the staff of FCPC since 2008 in various capacities within our Student Ministries department and as Interim Director of Preschool Ministries.  After completing her seminary studies in 2010 Cathie was called to FCPC as our first Associate Pastor for Family Ministries and was ordained and installed in December of 2010.

Cathie has a Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University.  Cathie’s ministry areas involve working with parents and families, confirmation and pre-confirmation, supporting the Christian Nurture and Preschool ministries and staff, and coordinating the contemporary worship service (H2O).

Cathie is married to Joel, who is employed in human resources with PPG industries.  They have three children, Ben, Jacob and Emily.
