The Rev. Dr. Chris Taylor, Senior Minister, Head of Staff

Chris Taylor began his ministry with us in January of 2005.  Prior to his arrival here he served congregations in Colorado (nine years), Ohio (eleven years) and Connecticut (three years).

Chris holds a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in California, where he studied family systems theory.

He and his family are not strangers to western Pennsylvania, having traveled through here and vacationed here while serving a church in the Cleveland area.  Chris grew up in Bethesda, MD and says this region feels like “coming home” after his years in Colorado.

Chris is married to the former Bonnie Calligan, a native of Puyallup, WA.  Bonnie is a certified integral coach and spiritual director.  The couple met while enrolled in master’s programs at Princeton.  They have three children (Christopher, Jonathan and Anna), all of whom are currently in college.
