From worship to discipleship

     Our worship services provide a wonderful environment for us to come together as a body of believers to glorify God.  So what happens for the rest of the week?  How do you become the hands and feet of the Christ we worship on Sunday morning?

     Our mission as a church is to help people of all ages become mature disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Disciples are commited learners who take the Gospel of Christ into the world.  They are not just admirers of Christ on Sundays, they take an active part in His ministry every day.

     Becoming a mature disciple also involves considering your own needs for connection, refreshment, guidance and support.  No one can be a disciple on an empty spiritual tank.  Disciples must have encouragement to become more like Christ; to work through personal issues that might keep them from effective ministry; to push one another to take risks; and to support one another when the road gets bumpy.

     We think that everyone can find a place to plug in at Fox Chapel.  There are a huge variety of growth, support, fun and ministry groups to choose from.  There are people eager to have newcomers everywhere you look, and exciting opportunities to put your gifts to work.  Prayerfully consider the many ways to worship God at Fox Chapel, and we hope you will choose to join us in ministry!
