Book of Acts Reading Group

Join an Eight-Week Book of Acts Reading Group, beginning October 9th!
Reading Scripture together is a fundamental practice of Christian discipleship. It helps us grow in our faith, listen to God, and discern how to be a part of God’s mission in the world. Enjoy fellowship, conversation about Scripture, and prayer while you read together the Book of Acts. Register here.

Each group will be based on the book Acts: Immersion Bible Studies (Abingdon Press) by Craig S. Keener. Books can be picked up in the church office. $10 optional donation. Books can also be purchased through Amazon.com or abingdonpress.com.

Friday Book Group

For our 27th year of meeting and discussing  books that help us grow in our faith and spiritual lives, we have chosen for our Fall 2022 season “A Complicated Choice” by Katey Zey. Pastor Zeh opens up space for the complexities of our reproductive lives, giving voice to the experiences of grief, loss, and healing surrounding abortion experiences. As a call to people of faith and to all people to examine our judgments about people who have abortions, we are invited into the act of sacred listening to the real stories of those most impacted.

We will meet by Zoom on Fridays from October 8th until December 9th from 9:30-

10:30 AM, sharing leadership and encouraging and valuing all opinions. Join us!
