Church-Wide Summer Reading

This summer, members and friends of FCPC are invited to read Hope Is Here!: Spiritual Practices for Pursuing Justice and Beloved Community, by Luther E. Smith, Jr. We often separate spirituality and seeking justice, but this book helps communities explore ways their spiritual practices can open them to the work God is doing to bring peace and justice in our world. Books are available in the worship spaces or the church office for a donation of $15 or can be ordered on your own. Here’s how you can participate:

+ Read the book in July and August

+ Attend a book discussion in August—stay tuned for dates and times

+ Be present on September 29 when the author, Luther Smith, will be preaching at each service and leading a workshop in the afternoon. Plan to attend!
