FCPC Chili Cook-Off

Don’t miss the FCPC B.J. Ferguson Chili Cook-Off Competition on Sunday, May 1, immediately after the 11:00 AM service, in Fellowship Hall. 

For the 15th straight year, the entire congregation is invited to attend and sample the product of the church’s best chili cooks, who will be vying for bragging rights (and awards). Again this year, the cook-off will  remember its late, great champion of champions, B.J. Ferguson. B.J. surely would want to know:  Who will be able to say that he or she has the best chili in the church and weather prior years’ winners repeat in 2022??

Cooks:  Sign-ups will be held on April 3 in Fellowship Hall before and after the 9:30 AM service, on April 10 in the Red Tile Area before and after the 8:15 AM and 11:00 AM services, and on April 17 and 24 before and after each service in the Red Tile Area and Fellowship Hall. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in the categories of traditional recipes,                   non-traditional recipes, youth entries and vegeterian /heart healthy recipes.

A special offering will be taken up at the door for a donation in B.J. Ferguson’s memory to Animal Friends.
