Fill the Truck!

We will be accepting non-perishable food donations from 8:30-11:00 AM on Sunday 2/13/22 . We are hoping to fill a large truck with food which will then be donated to three area food pantries: Bread of Life Pantry in Etna, Saint Vincent de Paul Pantry in Sharpsburg, and the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center Pantry in Indiana Township. The food supplies on the shelves of the pantries to serve those in need become particularly low this time of year. The suggested shopping list includes the following: boxed dinners; pancake / muffin mix and syrup; pasta and rice; pasta sauce; canned chili, stew, and soup; broth and gravy (chicken, turkey, and beef); jelly; tuna, salmon, and chicken (pouches or cans); cake and brownie mixes; salad dressing and condiments such as ketchup; canned fruits and vegetables; cooking oil; hot beverage supplies such as coffee, tea, and cocoa; baby diapers; gift cards for fresh groceries; baking supplies (flour, sugar, etc.); paper products (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex); laundry and dish detergent; grooming / bathing supplies (shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, soap); cereal (hot and cold); and pet food for dogs and cats.
