Return to Worship Guidelines
The following are guidelines that are to be followed by congregants of FCPC when attending an inside worship service in the sanctuary. This is not intended to be a final or finite list and should be considered as fluid during this time of uncertainty and change. These guidelines are derived from guidance provided by the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and
the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Congregants:
1.) Congregants will need to sign up for each indoor church service via the church’s website.
2.) All congregants will enter the church under the portico going into the Red Tile Area. 3.) Before entering the church, each congregant will have his/her temperature checked. 4.) Congregants will then proceed to the Narthex by the sanctuary.
5.) Each family unit will then be guided to a seating “pod” by an usher. We will be entering the sanctuary from the far left and center isles and ask that family units walk to the end of the pew to the first seating pod.
6.) After the service, an usher will assist families in exiting the sanctuary in an organized fashion. We will be exiting by walking to the right of the sanctuary and leaving via the center isle or the far right isle and out the back of the sanctuary.
7.) Congregants will then exit the church via the door in the Atrium along Field Club Road.
Notes for attending services:
1.) Masks must be worn at all times.
2.) Family units must social distance from others.
3.) Restrooms are available only in the Red Tile Area.
4.) Only soloists will be singing during the services. Congregants are invited to hum, tap, or sway to the hymns.
5.) Child care will not be available at this time.
6.) We will serve Communion on the designated Sundays.
7.) There will be no elevator access.
8.) We will have an offering box on a table in the Narthex for congregants to present their weekly offerings, if they choose.
