FCPC complies fully with all requirements set forth in the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law regarding individuals who work with children (defined in the law as being under the age of 18 years.) CHILD BEHAVIORAL POLICY
In support of our Child Protection Policy, the Christian Nurture Committee and our Children and Families Ministry, with support of Session, have formalized a Child Behavioral policy. This will ensure a positive and safe environment for all of our Children's activities and programming, while promoting a Christ-led approach to resolving any issues that may arise.

Our Children's Ministry is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered environment where children can grow in their faith. This behavioral policy, in conjunction with our Church’s Child Protection Policy, is designed to lovingly guide children in making appropriate choices while maintaining a welcoming and structured atmosphere.

This policy is used to address repeated disruptive or inappropriate behavior in a fair, loving, and consistent manner. It does so with a three step system.

Three-Step System
Step 1: Gentle Reminder & Redirection
Step 2: Clear Warning & Conversation
Step 3: Temporary Removal
