Preschool Teacher

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? Join our creative, dynamic team of early childhood educators at FCPC Preschool! FCPC Preschool teachers will help lead developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that encourage a love of learning and healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students.

Positions available:​

• One-year-old classroom Teacher (2-day mornings, Wednesday/Thursday)

• Two-year-old classroom Teacher (2-day mornings, Monday/Tuesday)

• Positions can be combined for a 4-day work week.

• Positions include: PTO, LPT, paid holidays, tuition remission for preschool aged children.

• Potential availability for additional lunch and afternoon hours.

• Potential availability for additional substitute hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities.

• Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect.

• Supervise activities in various meeting and play spaces.

• Engage students in an enriching learning environment.

• Keep parents and families updated on their students’ activities and progress.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Preschool Director.

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED.

• Enjoy working with young children.

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

• Ability to work creatively and flexibly.

Preferred Qualifications:​

• Experience working in Education, Child Development, or related fields.

• Bachelor's degree.
